Arunachal NSUI demands Education Minister’s resignation

Itanagar, June 3 (UNI) The opposition Congress’ student wing in Arunachal Pradesh has demanded Education Minister Taba Tedir’s resignation for the “sharp decline” in the overall pass percentage of students of the State-run schools in this year’s CBSE class X and XII examinations.
Expressing its umbrage over the dismal performance of students in this year’s class X and XII Board exams, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Arunachal Pradesh, in a statement here on Saturday said, “The NSUI, Arunachal Pradesh unit seeks resignation of Education Minister on moral grounds for drastic decrease in CBSE class X and XII exams pass percentage in Arunachal Pradesh.”
It said in 2021, the pass percentage in class X exam was 77.90%, while in 2022 it decreased by 27.97% (49.93%) and this year again; it dropped by over 10% to 39.72%. In the same way, the
