Arunachal Guv meets Union MoS for Culture

Itanagar, Feb 12 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra on Tuesday met Union Minister of State for Culture Mahesh Sharma, and discussed about developing a song, dance and music centre in every district of the State, following which the Minister assured that he would direct his team of officers in this regard.
During his meeting with the Minister in New Delhi, the Governor said that he toured each and every district of the State and observed the hobbies and habits of the youth and found them extremely interested in preserving and promoting the indigenous cultural heritage, which is demonstrated by the enthusiasm and passion they have for their songs, dances, music and pantomimes.
He also emphasised that the song, dance and music centres will provide the youth, the elders and future generation a platform to interact, teach and learn the age-old cultural heritage.
