Arunachal Guv calls for providing conducive ambience to the disabled

Itanagar, Dec 2 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) Dr. BD Mishra on Friday extended his warm greetings to the differently abled people of the state on the eve of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPwD).
He expressed hope that the occasion will create awareness for the cause of the differently abled persons and promote their dignity, safety, security, rights, and equal opportunity for their progress in society.
In his message, the governor said that determination and optimism are the cornerstones that enable people to become achievers. The hardest thing for differently abled people to overcome is not the physical disability, but the mental state which induces the sense of disability. It is, therefore, the mental robustness that plays an important role in disabled people claiming their right status in social and economic life, even within their own families, he said.
