Itanagar, Apr 3 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra on Friday apprised President Ram Nath Kovind regarding the COVID-19 in the state.
Attended a video conference with the President and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu regarding the spread of COVID -19 in the state, the Governor informed that as on date, there is one positive case of COVID -19 in Arunachal Pradesh, who is a returnee from Tablighi Jamaat Markaz in Delhi.
The Governor briefed the President about the initiatives taken by the State Government like preparation of medical facilities, setting up of control rooms and assistance to the needy, an official communique from the Raj Bhavan said.
