Arunachal Covid-19 case tally mounts to 7,250

Itanagar, Sep 20 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 case tally rose to 7,250 as 211 more people tested positive for the infection.
On the other hand, 140 patients were discharged, taking the total recoveries to 5,280. The recovery rate is around 72.82 per cent.
Of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 101, followed by Changlang 19 and Papum Pare 18, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS).
Fifteen cases were also reported from West Siang, 13 from Longding, seven from East Siang, six each from Lower Dibang Valley (LDV), West Kameng and Lower Subansiri, four from East Kameng, three each from Pakke Kessang, Tirap and Namsai, two each from Upper Subansiri, Upper Siang and Lohit and one from Kurung Kumey, it said.
Barring 27, all the patients are asymptomatic.
Of the 101 cases from ICC, 41 reported from paid quarantine testing centre here, 24 from TRIHMS, Naharlagun, 20 from Banderdewa check gate, 11 from CCC-SOA, Zoo area here, three from SQF, Lekhi and two from Helipad, Naharlagun.
Four among the 19 cases from Changlang are police personnel while two are IRBn personnel, two Assam Rifles personnel, seven from Jairampur township, three from Miao township and one is a healthcare worker.
Out of the 18 cases from Papum Pare, 16 detected from Gumto and two from Hollongi check gates.
According to the bulletin issued by the DHS last night, of 140 discharged, highest were from Tirap at 38, followed by ICC 36 and East Siang 17.
Arunachal Pradesh recorded 13 fatalities so far. Active cases in the state stands at 1,957.
