Itanagar, Aug 7 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday congratulated javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra for bagging India's first gold medal in Track and Field at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
"It’s Gold for India in #Tokyo2020. Congratulations Neeraj Chopra. You have filled the eyes of 1.3 billion people of India with tears of great joy & happiness.
By winning Gold in #JavelinThrow, you have become 2nd Indian to bring home gold from #Olympics.We are so proud of you," Khandu tweeted.
