Arunachal celebrates Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas with rich tribal traditions

Itanagar, Nov 15 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh marked Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas — commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Veer Birsa Munda — with vibrant celebrations across the State, highlighted by major programmes in Acheso village of Dibang Valley and Government Town Secondary School, Tawang.
In Acheso, the first Indian village along the international border in Northeast India, the Dibang Valley district administration, in collaboration with the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Dimapur, organised a culturally rich programme reflecting tribal pride and community spirit.
The event began with flag hoisting and the National Anthem presented by students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Anini, followed by a floral tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda.

Dhanbad DC hears public grievances, assures action on encroachments and land disputes
