Arunachal BJP hails PM for extending free ration scheme

Itanagar, Jul 3 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh unit of BJP on Friday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for extending Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, a free ration scheme, for 80 crore people across the country till November.
Addressing a press conference here , state BJP's spokesperson Dominic Tadar termed the PM's announcement to extend the scheme till the end of November 'historic'.
"This is a historic announcement. From July to November, 80 crore people of the country will be provided five kg free rice/wheat and one kg pulse to each family per month," he said.
The BJP leader also highlighted various initiatives undertaken by Modi Government during this Coronavirus pandemic.
Emphasising on 'Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan' , the spokesperson said, " We must master the the art of revenue generation in the state for a 'self-reliant' Arunachal."
