Chennai, Dec 13 (UNI) Team India Bowling Coach Bharat Arun

today heaped praises on young all-rounder Shivam Dube and

speedser Deepak Chahar and said they have the qualities to

perform well at the international level.

Talking to reporters ahead of the first ODI against West

Indies on Sunday, he said Dube was an exciting prospect

and wa gaining in confidence from every game.

He said they the way he came back the way after the first

over against West Indies was creditable.

'For Virat (Kohi) to show faith in him after the first

over and also for him to bowl a good spell after that...

he is an exciting talent for us. As he gains in confidence

he will become a good all-rounder," he said.

Praising Chahar as a skill bowler, who could move the ball

in both ways, Arun said he did well in the IPL.

He has so much skills like bowling slow bouncers, yorkers

and got everything in him to do well at the international

level," he added.

On having played both Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal

in the playing XI for a long time leading in to the World

Cup and in the mega event too, Arun said it was all about

overall balance of the team and conducive conditions.

'We were looking at an ideal combination that lend balance

to the team. Also there is an option to use Ravindra Jadeja

as an all-rounder, which really helped us', he said.

On West Indies batting line up, which has some big hitters,

Arun said the bowlers did well in the two T20s we won.

Terming the Windies as an extremely competitive side, he said

India has the bowlers to restrict them.

While the presence of quality fast bowlers augurs well for

the team, Arun said the team would adopt horses for courses

policy.

On offie Washington Sundar, he said in due course he would

stake his claim for the ODI team. 'Every time he is given

an opportunity he has done well with the ball, besides he

is a capable bat who has played some cameos'.
