Artists rally to press for safeguarding their Rights

Gangtok, Jul 13 ( UNI) Organization of Musicians and Artists of Sikkim,(OMAS) founded by a handful of artists led by Tshering Wangchuk Lepcha have raised their voice for social, economic and cultural facilities.
‘We are carrying out a signature campaign in favour of the Bill we want to be introduced in the State Assembly. Only 14 demands are there,’ said Tshering, the founder of OMAS at the signature campaign near the Tourists Information Centre.
He said the new Government is fortunately led by PS Goley who also takes an interest in art.
