Lakhs of devotees gather in Pune to witness Ganesh immersion procession

Pune, Sep 6 (UNI) Lakhs of devotees from across India and abroad have gathered in Pune to witness the magnificent Ganesh immersion procession.
A festival deeply rooted in the city’s glorious tradition, this year’s immersion, with its splendid and grand chariots, moved forward with great devotion along Laxmi Road, Tilak Road, Kumthekar Road, and Kelkar Road, filling the atmosphere with spirituality.
At the beginning of the procession, traditional trumpets (tutari), drums, the depiction of young Shivaji, resounding chants of “Moraya Moraya,” the Ramanbagh dhol-tasha troupe, flag bearers, clapping and drumming, men in turbans and red attire—all together created a vibrant atmosphere.
