Arrangements for Corona vaccine distribution to 35,000 health care workers: EG Collector

Kakinada, Dec 2 (UNI) East Godavari Collector D Muralidhara Reddy has said that advance arrangements were being made to distribute Corona vaccine to 35,000 health care workers in the district during the first phase in accordance with the central governments standard action plan.
Briefing the media persons at the Collectorate here on Wednesday , on the arrangements made for Corona vaccine distribution to health care workers and also the fifty days intensive awareness campaign proposed to alert the people on the danger of Covid second wave intensification, he said ,the Corona vaccine after completion of clinical trials and declared as safest would be distributed. He said the vaccine distribution would be done strictly following the standard procedure.
`The government has suggested that the vaccine should be distributed first to the health care workers working in government hospitals and private hospitals having government registration.
