Around 28,000 people were shifted to 178 cyclone relief centers: Minister Narayana

Kakinada, Dec 17 (UNI) Municipal administration and urban housing Minister P. Narayana said
that there was no loss of life in the Pethai cyclone that cursed the coast near Katrenikona in Konaseema region around 12.30 hrs and all the communication net works including the roads and electricity that were affected would be restored by Monday midnight.
He told media persons at the central control room in the Collectorate here late in the evening that as many as 28,000 people were shifted to 178 cyclone relief centers and being provided food and medical facilities.
