Army’s Gajraj Corps saves 13 civilians in Arunachal bus mishap

Itanagar, Oct 3 (UNI) In a swift and courageous response, troops of the Indian Army’s Gajraj Corps carried out a successful rescue operation after a bus rolled into a valley near Baisakhi under Dirang Police Station in Arunachal Pradesh’s West Kameng district in the early hours.
Displaying the finest traditions of ‘Service Before Self’, the soldiers immediately launched a coordinated rescue mission yesterday, saving 13 civilians from the accident site.
The injured were provided critical first aid and stabilisation on the spot by Army medical personnel before being evacuated to safety, a Defence spokesman said today.
