Army raises unauthorised sale of military uniforms in open market

Ambala, Dec 13 (UNI) The Army has taken very seriously the sale of military uniforms and dresses in open market unauthorisedly by some unscrupulous shopkeepers and traders in violation of rules.
The issue was raised by the Army officers in the coordination committee of the district administration and Army in the office of Deputy Commissioner Sharandeep Kaur Barara here on Thursday.
Taking the matter very seriously, the Deputy Commissioner ordered the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation to verify the list of those who were authorised to sell the uniforms. She further ordered that erring shopkeepers should be stopped from selling Army dresses with immediate effect.
