Armed criminals loot Rs 16 lakhs from Axis bank in Bihar's Ara

Ara (Bihar), Dec 6 (UNI) Armed criminals looted Rs 16 lakhs from a branch of Axis bank under Town Police station area in Ara of Bhojpur district on Wednesday.
Police said here that about five criminals stormed into a branch of Axis bank and locked all staff in a room. Later, they looted Rs 16 lakhs from counter of the bank and managed to escape from the spot, police added.
" Acting on the basis of information, police reached on the spot and quizzed bank personnel to get clue and saw the CCTV footage ", police said adding that Superintendent of Police Pramod Kumar Yadav had constituted Special Investigation Team (SIT) to crack the case.
