According to an official statement by Assam Rifles (North) today informed that based on specific input regarding presence of suspected person with arms and ammunition, troops of Assam Rifles conducted cordon and search operation in general Area, Signal Basti on 20 July. In a search operation of the suspected house was carried out along with police representative, wherein illegal arms and ammunition comprising one 12 bore Rifles, one Point 22 Rifles and 24 live rounds of 12 bore Rifle were recovered.
