New Delhi, Apr 3 (UNI) Ace Designer Archana Kochhar unveiled her new Summer Collection 2018 at the 'Bombay Times Fashion Week'.
Comprising of three capsule collection including 'Efflorescent Mirage', 'Fusion Fantasy' and 'Enchanted Elan', Archana’s new collection is perfect for all the celebrations during an Indian summer wedding.
Actress Urvashi Rautela and Amyra Dastur looked resplendent as they walked the ramp in a beautiful outfit as the showstopper for Designer Archana Kochhar.
“I am in love with what I am wearing. This outfit is out of the world and I am happy to walk for Designer Archana Kochhar”, Urvashi said on Sunday.
The three capsule collection Designer Archana showcased at 'Bombay Times Fashion Week' included 'Efflorescent Mirage'-- the collection is an ode to the beauty of spring and the grandeur it brings along.
The idea was to portray the sheer beauty of nature, which has been translated with 3D floralembroidery, ornamented elegantly on the silhouettes. The garments are ranging from delicately handcrafted gowns with sheer panels, to botanic lehengas enhanced with a pop of color.
The ensembles are tailor made for destination weddings, as the palette comprises majorly of ivory, tangerine, pink, marsala and champagne gold.
The other collection was 'Fusion Fantasy'-- this collection is a fusion of traditional silhouettes with a westernized twist, in terms of cut and style. It is an optimal choice for a sun downer or a laid-back pool party. The ready-to- wear ivory jumpsuits with smartly surfaced intricate embroidery and the foil printed lehengas teamed with draped
blouses are the modernised take on conventional ethnic attires.
The color palette consists of breezy whites, gold and copper. Luxe fabrics like organza and georgette are converted into stylized drapes for maximum effect.
The third category was 'Enchanted Elan'--the dreamy ball gowns with an old world charm have been inspired by the Victorian era. The clinched waist corsets with elaborated structures, portray the royal era effortlessly.
It is the grand reception outfit that will steal the show. The hand-crafted embroidery and floral corsages add the required glamour to these ultra-chic silhouettes. Deep hues of ruby, gold, and charcoal black have been opted for this ethereal collection to elevate its regal aura.
