APWJF urges Naidu to establish Doordarshan centre in Vizag

Hyderabad, Jan 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Working Journalist Federation (APWJF) today urged Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting M Venkaia Naidu, to establish one Doordarshan station in Visakhapatnam business capital, port city with cosmopolitan culture in Andhra Pradesh.
In a letter addressed to Mr Naidu, a copy which was released to the media here, Federation General Secretary G Anjaneyulu said that as part of technological up gradation in the world, Norway all FM stations are digitlized without manpower reduction and broadcast media flourishing in public and private sector in many countries.
"Similar kind of growth and development is expected in the country under his (Naidu) leadership," he said.
