Apex court to hear plea to rebuild Ravidas temple

New Delhi, Sep 16 (UNI) The plea for the reconstruction of Guru Ravidas Temple was referred to the CJI bench to be placed before the bench which had ordered demolition of the temple.
A bench, headed by Justice R Banumathi and also comprising Justice A S Bopanna, referred the petitions filed by Ashok Tanwar and Pradeep Jain (both are former Parliamentarians), seeking a direction for right to worship at Sant Sri Ravi Das temple here, to the CJI for placing before the same bench.
"We are taking on record the petitioners case. We referred to the CJI bench for placing before the bench which had ordered demolition of the temple," the bench said in its order.
