Apex court seeks ED reply on Karti plea for refund

New Delhi, Jan 13 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Monday sought a detailed reply from the probe agency, Enforcement Directorate, on Karti Chidambaram's plea to return Rs 20 crore that he had deposited as security to travel abroad.
A bench, headed by Chief Justice of India S A Bobde, issued the notice on a petition filed by the son of Indian National Congress veteran P Chidambaram.
Karti Chidambaram is being probed by the ED and the Central Bureau of investigation in various cases.
