APCC election committee member resigns from party over allegations against Gaurav

Guwahati, Feb 10 (UNI) Vice president of the Assam Congress Election Committee Sanju Baruah has resigned from the grand old party following allegations of Gaurav Gogoi's "Pakistan" links.
Baruah’s resignation came at a time when Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made public the SIT report on Sunday and alleged Gogoi of having links with Pakistan.
Baruah sent his resignation to AICC leader Mallikarjun Kharge and said that nothing can be above sovereignty and national security of one’s motherland.
