States » East » CAEPosted at: Apr 20 2019 9:08PM Apang demands re-polling at one polling booth, poll panel refers it to DEOItanagar, Apr 20 (UNI) Alleging polling at Singging village under Tuting-Yingkiong Assembly constituency was not conducted ‘democratically and properly’, Janata Dal (Secular) candidate and former Chief Minister Gegong Apang on Saturday demanded re-polling at the said booth.Mr Apang on Saturday met Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Kaling Tayeng and Additional CEO Kanki Darang here and submitted a letter in this regard.“ I am to you inform you that polling at Singging village under Tuting-Yingkiong Assembly constituency was not conducted democratically and properly. The polling was conducted under the great threat by BJP workers.
