APAARI to hold regional consultation on ‘forgotten foods’ on May 28

Hyderabad, May 26 (UNI) Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions (APAARI) , Bangkok , is organizing a Regional Consultation on ‘Forgotten Foods - Developing Asia Pacific Regional Manifesto ‘ on Friday.
The consultation will be held through a webinar and will see representatives of research, farmers, advocacy and public agricultural research systems deliberate to produce a manifesto, International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) said in a release here on Wednesday.
The consultation is being organized by APAARI in partnership with Global Forum of Agricultural Research, Alliance Bioversity - CIAT, Asian Farmers Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA) and M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), and International Crop Research Institute for Semi-arid Tropics (ICRISAT).
