AP: YSRCP condemns Health Minister’s remark on losing 50 MBBS seats

Vijayawada, Dec 10 (UNI) Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav, Chairman, YSRCP NTR District Doctors Wing, condemned Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav’s remark that 50 MBBS seats at Paderu Government Medical College were lost due to “lack of coordination”.
Dr.Yadav regretted this is a shocking and shameful admission of gross negligence by the government, not a minor administrative lapse, and shows how lightly the ruling dispensation is treating medical education and tribal health.
Dr. Yadav expressed deep anguish that valuable MBBS seats in a tribal area medical college were allowed to slip away only because concerned officials failed to complete procedures and coordination in time. He said that this is not a technical issue but a clear case of irresponsibility and official apathy, which has directly harmed poor and deserving students as well as Adivasi communities depending on this institution.
