AP: YSRCP condemns attack on CJI

Vijayawada, Oct 6 (UNI) YSRCP coordinator and former minister Sake Shailajanath today strongly condemned the attack on Chief Justice of India, Justice B.R. Gavai, saying that attempts to justify such acts in the name of Sanatana Dharma are dangerous and must be opposed.
Speaking at the Party's Central Office at Tadepalli, near here, Shailajanath said it was disturbing that even after 75 years of independence, Dalits continue to face humiliation. He expressed anguish that some people cannot tolerate Dalits rising to the highest constitutional positions.
He demanded strict punishment against advocate Kishore, who attempted to hurl a shoe at Justice Gavai inside the courtroom.
