AP: Two arrested with 50 liters ID liquor

Kakinada, Jan 22 (UNI) The Sarpavaram police circle Inspector Akula Muralikrishna along with SI KSN Murty, on a tip off, arrested two persons along the beach road on Valasapakala outskirts on Saturday and seized from them a gunny bag containing 50 liters of ID Liquor packed in Polythene bags.

A case was registered and the accused were identified as Koppisetti Suribabu (37) native of Vakalapudi and Faruruddin Ahmed (29) resident of Muralidhar Nagar in Ramanayyapeta.

Hubballi, April 19 (UNI) Niranjan Hiremath, a Congress Corporator and father of the late MCA student Neha Hiremath, who was tragically murdered on Thursday, has linked the incident to "love jihad."
Addressing the media on Friday, Hiremath expressed concern over what he perceives as the rapid spread of "love jihad" and urged mothers to accompany their college-going daughters for their safety.
