Vijayawada, Aug 11 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party Senior leader and former Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Tuesday described the new industrial policy 2020-23 announced by the YSRCP Government on Monday as “not reassuring” to revive all the ailing and crisis-hit sectors in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Ramakrishnudu said that the government failed to create confidence even as its policies till now had crippled the construction, manufacturing, real estate, pharma and other major contributors. In just 14 months, the industrial growth rate was brought down to -2.2 per cent, he lamented.
In a statement here on Tuesday, Mr Ramakrishnudu, who is the Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council, slammed that the new policy had not given any hope of generating employment opportunities for the future generations.
