AP: Round-the-clock surveillance on Strong room: Kakinada Collector

Kakinada, May 20(UNI) Kakinada Collector and District Electoral Officer J. Nivas said that there was round-the-clock surveillance on strong rooms safety and the rooms were sealed in the presence of political parties representatives and agents.
He told media persons along with SP S Sathish Kumar after inspecting the strong rooms in Dr BR Ambedkar central library building and CCTV Cameras control room in students canteen building in the JNTUK campus on Monday that foolproof arrangements were being made for the counting of votes.
He said the contested candidates could view the safety of strong rooms from the CCTV Cameras control room. `The strong rooms are kept under the supervision of Returning officers of the concerned constituency in addition to keeping one Gazetted rank officer and a police officer.

Bengaluru, Feb 7 (UNI) State BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Friday said while the Karnataka High Court has refused to order a CBI probe into the MUDA case, it has not exonerated Chief Minister Siddaramaiah or his family.
Speaking to reporters, Vijayendra stated that Snehamayi Krishna, a social activist, had moved the Karnataka High Court, seeking a CBI investigation into the case.
