AP: Reforms being implemented in AYUSH to enhance quality, check unqualified doctors: Minister

Vijayawada, May 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav has asserted that reforms are being implemented in AYUSH in order to enhance quality in medical services and check unqualified doctors.
In a statement here on Monday, the Health Minister announced that the regulatory framework would be strengthened to further popularize traditional systems of medicine—namely Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, Unani, and Naturopathy (AYUSH)—and to make them more accessible to the public.
As part of this initiative, the Minister stated that the Andhra Pradesh Allopathic Private Medical Care Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2022, has been amended.
