Amaravati, Dec 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has reiterated that Andhra Pradesh is the only state in the country which has provided reservations for SC, ST, OBC, Minorities and Women in nominated posts and the same would be followed in Corporation Chairperson posts as well.
Intervening during question hour in the Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister brushed aside the allegations of nepotism in appointing Corporation Chairpersons, Advisors, CEOs and other nominated posts and said that there are about 160 more posts which would be filled up after the ensuing panchayat elections.
The composition after all the vacancies are filled, the Chief Minister said, would be in tune with the 50 per cent reservations with SCs, STs, OBCs, Minorities and Women getting their due share.
