AP: Power tariff will not be hiked: Energy Minister

Vijayawada, July 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar on Wednesday reiterated the state government's commitment of not increasing electricity tariffs for five years.
He also highlighted the government's decision to implement a "true-down" mechanism, which he described as a first of its kind.
Addressing the media at the Secretariat at Amaravati near here on Wednesday, the Minister said the State was witnessing a daily power consumption of around 280 million units due to fluctuating weather conditions.
