AP: Medical representatives stage protest seeking better deal

Kakinada Jan 17 (UNI) Medical representatives, who hold allegiance to AP Medical and sales representatives union, staged demonstration near the Collectorate here on Monday, demanding strict implementation of Sales Promotion Employees Act and waiver of GST on medicines and medical equipment besides stoppage of online sale of medicines.

Union state treasurer Dumpala Prasad while addressing the protesters demanded that the government formulate specific working rules to the medical representatives and enhancement of TA and DA which is proportionate to the rising prices.
