AP: Man hacks to death mother, younger brother

Bhimavaram, Nov 10 (UNI) In a gruesome incident, a man hacked to death his mother and younger brother at Sunkara Paddiah street area, here in West Godavari district on Monday.
Circle Inspector of Police Nagaraju told the media that the accused Gunupudi Srinivasa Rao had an altercation with his mother and younger brother. After a quarrel, in a fit of rage, he hacked his mother G Mahalakshmi (60) and younger brother Raviteja (33).
Both were killed instantaneously. Later the accused Srinivasa Rao informed the police about the incident over phone and confessed to murdering his mother and younger brother. The police rushed there and arrested him.

The state government has allotted 22 acres of land for Cognizant Company which came forward to invest Rs 1,583 crore with 8,000-seat facility in Visakhapatnam.

Kerala: Six convicts get 20 years in 2017 actress assault case

Kochi, Dec 12 (UNI) In a major development in the 2017 actress assault case, the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court on Friday handed down sentences to the six men convicted in the case. The court sentenced all six, including prime accused Sunil alias Pulsar Suni, to 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment each.
