AP govt to install 58-feet Potti Sriramulu bronze statue at state capital Amaravati

Kakinada, July 19 (UNI) Kakinada City MLA Vanamadi Kondababu said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made arrangements for installing a 58 feet high Potti Sriramulu Bronze statue at state capital Amaravati.
This was disclosed by the MLA after he was felicitated by the representatives of the Young Men’s Vysya association and other Arya Vysya associations at his camp office here who felicitated him on behalf of their community.
They made a representation to him to arrange a fitting memorial beside a bronze statue of late Potti Sriramulu who attained martyrdom by fasting for 58 days for the sake of separate Andhra state. Replying to the felicitation, MLA Kondababu said that the alliance government was making efforts to complete the construction and unveiling of the bronze statue by his next birth anniversary.
