AP govt to develop Rayalaseema as major horticulture hub: Atchannaidu

Vijayawada, May 20 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Agriculture K Atchannaidu has reiterated the government’s commitment to develop the Rayalaseema region as one of the biggest horticulture hubs in the country.
The Agriculture Minister here on Wednesday said that the Rayalaseema region, which has been backward for several decades, is now moving towards rapid development.
“The government has issued orders to implement the Rayalaseema Integrated Horticulture Development plan to develop the region as one of the biggest horticulture hubs in the country. There are abundant opportunities for horticulture activities in the Rayalaseema region,” Atchannaidu observed.
