Amaravati, Nov 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party National President N Chandrababu Naidu, as part of his efforts to form a Front to counter BJP in the next elections, will meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata this evening.
TDP sources said the Chief Minister, Minister for Finance Yanamala Ramakrishunudu and other Senior leaders of TDP will take a flight from the Gannavaram airport, near here, at 1300 hours They will meet Ms Mamata at around 1600 hours.
It may be mentioned here that Mr Naidu is planning to hold non-BJP parties meeting in New Delhi on November 22. As part of his efforts to bring all non-BJP leaders onto a single platform, he will be meeting the West Bengal Chief Minister.
The sources also said that Mr Chandrababu Naidu had already spoken with Ms Mamata Banarjee over phone on forming as front.
TDP leaders are anticipating that Ms Mamata would lend full support to the efforts being made by Mr Naidu to form a Front to check the BJP.
