AP: CM to launch crest gates replacement works of Cotton barrage on Jul 13

Vijayawada, Jul 12 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will formally inaugurate the replacement works of the Sir Arthur Cotton Dowleswaram barrage, located near Rajamahendravaram on Monday.

The Sir Arthur Cotton barrage, located across the Godavari River, has 175 crest gates and the AP government has sanctioned Rs 152.95 crore to replace 117 old gates with new gates.
