AP CM to inaugurate manufacturing unit of  KIA motors India factory

Amaravati, Dec 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the manufacturing unit of KIA Motors India factory at Erramanchi village in Anantapur district on Thursday.

The Chief Minister would visit various units in the KIA plant along with the officials of the KIA motors.

Continuing the state policy of preparing a competent workforce to suit the needs of the industry, the Korean Motor manufacturing unit will partner with the state in upgrading the skills of the workforce from locals to suit the requirements of industries.

KIA, its vendors and affiliates had employed 12,835 workers of whom 10,887 hail from AP. Of which 7,029 are from Anantapur district.

With the initiatives of the government, the region from Anantapur to Bengaluru is bound to develop as an economic hub.

Kozhikode, Aug 8 (UNI) Union Minister of Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri on Saturday said that one should not go in for any conclusions on the causes of Air India Express flight accident at Calicut International Airport in Karipur on Friday night but has to wait for the investigations by the DGCA and revelations available from the black boxes which is to be scrutinised."
