AP CM lays foundation stone for religious theme park at Avilala Tank

Tirupati ,Dec 6 (UNI) With the objective to transform pilgrim city of Tirupati into a spiritual hub of India, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandababu Naidu laid foundation for Sri Venkateswara Spiritual theme park at the sprawling Avilala grounds here on Thursday evening.
At an Estimated cost of Rs 181.13 crores, TTD plans to spend Rs Rs.80.14 crores in the first phase which includes, internal fencing and compound wall of 3.5 kms, ticket counters and parking for 496 two wheelers, 390 cars and 64 buses besides cycle tracks and walkers path .
Besides the land space of grass mounds, reservoirs, reflecting the bio-diversity of Seshachala Ranges, the Astro gardens are going to be another attraction.
With Parrots park , children's park and a unique Garuda vanam coming up to add more beauty to the theme park.
Food courts, toilets, drinking water and rest rooms for visitors were also on the anvil.
The goal is to transform the Avilala grounds into a devotional destination for all pilgrims who are visiting Tirupati.
Among others who took part in the function are State minister N Amarnath Reddy, TTD Chairman P Sudhakar Yadav, TTD Executive Officer
Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirumala Joint Executive Officer K S Sriniasa Raju and Tirupati Joint Executive officer Pola Bhaskar.
