AP CM launches Abhayam passenger app for safety of women, girls

Vijayawada, Nov 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Monday virtually launched Abhayam Passenger App for the safety of women and girls travelling in cabs and autorickshaws.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Abhayam app could be used for women to travel safely in autorickshaws and cabs and the device would be installed in autos and cabs across the state.
He reminded that the state had brought the Disha Act and set up Disha police stations for the safety of women.
