AP CM directs officials to expedite construction of Anganwadi centres

Vijayawada, Mar 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday directed the officials concerned to expedite the construction works of Anganwadi centres.
At a review meeting here, the Chief Minister said that the works on Anganwadi buildings should be started simultaneously in urban and rural areas. The officials told the Chief Minister that the construction of new buildings and revamping of existing buildings are being carried out at 44,119 Anganwadi centers.
Reviewing the YSR Pre Primary Schools, the Chief Minister inspected the books and teaching aids designed for pre-primary children, which were displayed by the officials of the Women and Child Welfare department.
