Hamirpur (HP), Sep 29 (UNI) Union Minister Anurag Thakur will launch the month-long 'Swachh Bharat 2.0' program across the country from October 1 to 31, following the last year's successful campaign.
A government spokesman said Thursday that with the cooperation and voluntary participation of citizens with the spirit of public participation, 1 crore kg of waste, mainly single-use plastic, will be collected and disposed off.
This program will be organised by Nehru Yuva Kendras of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India through a network of youth clubs and institutions affiliated to the National Service Scheme in all villages across the country.
