New Delhi, Oct 21 (UNI) Sony Entertainment Television (SET) on Sunday announced that music composer Anu Malik is no longer a part of Indian Idol 10 jury panel.
"Anu Malik is no longer a part of the Indian Idol jury panel. The show will continue it's planned schedule and we will invite some of the biggest names in Indian music as guests to join Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar,to judge the extraordinary talent of Indian Idol season 10,' a statement from SET said.
The decision came days after Anu Malik was accused of sexual harassment by singer Sona Mohapatra and Shweta Pandit.
The charges of sexual abuse was also levelled against Mr Malik by two other aspiring singers.
The Bollywood industry is currently gripped by several #MeToo stories.
Actors Nana Patekar, Alok Nath, Rajat Kapoor, filmmakers Vikas Bahl, Sajid Khan, Subhash Ghai, Subhash Kapoor, and politician M J Akbar have also been ousted as alleged predators.
