Anti-treason law to be firmer: Rajnath

Satna, MP, Apr 21 (UNI) Emphasising that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has a hard-line stance against incivism, Home Affairs Minister Rajnath Singh averred on Sunday that legislation relating to treason would be given more teeth.
“People even contemplating incivism shall feel petrified,” he said while addressing an election rally in Nagod.

In the context of the Pulwama terror attack, the visiting politician underlined that Premier Narendra Modi did not allow the nation to lower its head in the wake of the tragedy and instead provided the foe a realisation of our might even as an opposition party is playing politics over this issue also.

“Unlike the Congress, the BJP does not attempt to misuse minorities by generating trepidation in their minds,” the erstwhile Uttar Pradesh chief minister claimed.
