Anti-government protests in Bangkok

Bangkok, Sep 19 (UNI) Protestors have gathered at the campus of Thammasat University in Bangkok for a two-day protest, demanding resignation of the Thai government and calling for limiting the powers of the monarchy.
The protest is a new turn of the student-led rallies that began in Bangkok and other prominent Thai cities in January but were halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Protesters demand the resignation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, and also demand further democratic reforms, through amending the country's constitution.
