Anta By-poll: CM Sharma, predecessor Vasundhara Raje & BJP president Rathore hold discussions

Jaipur, Oct 10 (UNI) Political parleys ahead of the November 11 Assembly by-election on the Anta seat of Baran district in Rajasthan gained momentum on Friday with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, former CM Vasundhara Raje and the ruling BJP state President Madan Rathore holding a crucial meeting to discuss various aspects, including selection of the party candidate.
The meeting was held late Friday afternoon at the two-time Ex-Chief Minister Raje's Civil Lines residence. CM Sharma also drove to her residence, showing due respect and regard for the senior predecessor, where the state party chief Rathore was also present.
The meeting was organised following word from the party Central Leadership that it duly recognises her views and opinions in so far as the political equations and the party's prospects at the hustings are concrrned, especially in her invincible bastion in Baran and Jhalawar districts.
