Sriharikota (AP), Nov 14 (UNI) The Indian Space agency took yet
another giant step forward, when its heavy rocket GSLV MkIII-D2
successfully placed the 3,423 kg high throughput communication
Satellite GSAT-29 in the intended orbit on Wednesday.
After a 26 hour countdown, the 43.494 m tall GSLV MkIII-D2, the
second development flight of GSLV Mark III, which was the fifth
generation launch vehicle developed the ISRO, soared into the
skies belching fumes of orange flames.
