Ankur Textiles showcases latest collection of multi-fibre fabrics for womenswear

New Delhi, July 17 (UNI) Ankur Textiles, a Lifestyle Division of Arvind Limited, showcased its recently launched modal, viscose, cotton Lycra blended fabrics which are an alternative to traditional cotton for the new-age Indian woman at the Fabrics & Accessories Trade Show here.
These include fabrics like Zoya, Glam and Glory, Blossom, Charm-me and Lilac which can be tailor-made into western and ethnic womenswear such as dresses, blouses, kurtis and tunics.
Available in a wide range of colours, textures, and prints, these fabrics will be available at womenswear MBOs (Multi Brand Outlets) in the price range of Rs 180 to Rs 300 per metre.
The Fabrics and Accessories Trade show, a three-day event being held from July 16-18, is an international platform and facilitator for the textile supply chains worldwide.
It's a fashion designer's delight due to its excellent drape, lustre, softness, absorbency and colour brilliance. This poly viscose quality has a liquid drape and is versatile in its applications as it can be used both in women's wear and men's wear. Its excellent absorbency makes it ideal for summer season at the same time giving a soft feel to the wearer.
Mr Brijesh Bhati, CEO, Ankur Textiles, (A Division of Arvind Limited) said, "Our latest collection marks our expansion into multi-fibre fabrics as a fashionable alternative to cotton. We have combined our textiles expertise with pathbreaking technology to develop smart blends of fabrics that offer style as well as comfort. Our in-house design team will continue to introduce more such trendy collections in future to delight our customers."
For more than five decades, Ankur has been designing high-quality voiles ranging from 100 per cent cotton to all fancy blends that are available throughout India and exported to Switzerland, Middle East, China, Thailand and Africa, according to a release here on Tuesday.
