Jamaica, Feb 1 (UNI) After serving a year-long ban for violating the whereabouts clause under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) code, West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell is all set to rejoin the cricketing world.
The 29-year-old will play his first competitive cricket match in a year when he will feature for Jamaica in the Regional Super50, West Indies' domestic 50-over competition.
Notably, an independent tribunal in Jamaica had found Russell guilty of the charge and as a result slapped him with a one-year ban between January 31, 2017 and January 30, 2018.
